***OMT - Tottenham Hotspur v Emirates Marketing Project, Sunday Feb 1 KO - 4.30pm***

side note: first half would have been better if we had played one of our other wide players instead of RKM
Not sure about that. The set up was wrong in the first half but I do like him playing off Solanke. You can see the talent and skill, the one moment he turned his man on the right touchline so easily. Just needs some consistency around him and to build up his confidence.

Didn’t think he was bad today, just the wrong formation for the first half.

But we do need to do better with our transition attacks.

Have to say I had mixed feelings about what I wanted from the game at the start but all of that went out of the window in the 2nd half. I was fully wanting us to thump them. Loved the energy. Simons was superb and Solanke is a proper centre forward. What a difference he makes.

fudge Arsenal let's smash them when we play them.

Our legendary Flying Dutchman showing his appreciation for super Solanke’s scorpion kick

It's just a shame that Donnarumma got a hand to it, reduced the aesthetics slightly.

Would have definitely have been the Puskas winner if not for that.

I must say seeing Frank celebrate the equaliser made me think how much I want him to succeed. For someone who clearly puts so much stock in being balanced and measured, seeing him lose it was good to witness!

And you have to credit the result and the performance, especially with so many players unavailable.

Rodri also should have been off, it’s a disgrace that he wasn’t.

All in all, fully deserved point.

Keep your hair on, Pep

what a belligerent prick

no word on the stamp from Guehi

he's the most overrated manager ever, for the money he has spent, City should have won 20 league titles by now

complete fudging fraud

Was very critical at half time and feared the worst when Romero didn’t come out second half. Expected a pasting.

Credit Frank and the squad. That was some second half. Thought they all put in a shift but Xavi, Pahlinha, Solanke and Sarr were the standouts. A word for Dragusin too given how long he’s been out for.

My only slight gripe second half was with Vicario right at the end by leaving the ball out for a goal kick and high fiving people celebrating a draw. He should have been trying to release us for one final attack.

A good day though. Far more enjoyable than I anticipated this morning or at half time.

Agreed, but on balance City didnt6desetve to go in in front, let alone 2 up - it was an even half
This is it. City are a good team but not invincible like some think. Teams are taking points of them regularly. They are likely to be 10-20pts off their best teams tallies and today it showed. We weren't lucky, a draw is a fair result, and second half we looked the better team with a depleted squad that some don't believe is good enough so credit to the players for stepping up

I dunno. Maybe forgivable considering the costly goals he's conceded recently in time added on.

I like he got a hand to it ... The finish was just too good to save. Something beautiful about a keeper desperately hoping they could save it and then fail.

Frank deserves huge credit for his current ability to eek out momentum with this injury crisis. As with Burnley we could have easily won and been good for it, as it is I take what we have done recently and move forward

Na, unless we gave it away in our box, the game would have been blown up if City recovered possession. He had a chance to give us one last go at winning it and settled for (and celebrated) a draw.

That’s the difference between winners and losers in my book.

Great result for us.
Wrong formation/players in first half (RKM is not up for it)

Xavi looks the player we hoped
Palhinha has to be made permanent, guy is quietly racking up very good performances
Gallagher's best game so far
Odobert again showing promise
Solanke showing what a decent CF can get us

Pep can't even beat a Frank version of Spurs 🤣

Udogie is stepping up as well. Aways looks to drive forward down the left.

Was Romero sub tactical or is he also injured?

I think injury, didn't look comfortable when he was tracking back at one point

Frank on Romero being taking off at half-time

"(It was because of) illness. So we are assessing him. Hopefully he is fine. He struggled through the Frankfurt game as well but he pushed through that with a fantastic captain's performance. He struggled a little bit (today) but we hope it's nothing."

First half was fine, people were reacting to the scoreline not the performance
The Cherki finish was top class. Then their second goal came as a result of an Individual error, this time a Dragu pass straight back to city from deep. It put us under pressure immediately and we couldn't recover our defensive shape while City played through us. But before that I thought we were ok.
