Mikey Moore

He's not ready for the first team. He struggled in most games he played in. A loan at a good level is what he needs.
He also mostly played on the right despite being a LWF. I don't know how well we can truly judge his performances last season given he was misused 90% of the time.

He also had time on the left, and he's not ready. He does the basics to a decent level but beyond that...

Having worked with young players at pro level they need to play to improve, we have a lot of options in his posistion so for me a good loan period at a good club would probably see him progress quicker.

Have to say I do prefer to see a pen blasted in, as Mikey did, rather then the slomo "hip hop" that Son and Solanke do. Of course a goal is a goal, but the Kane way is for me the most satisfying.
Without being biased … the shearer way was the one.

Looks like he's done his ankle right at the end of the game.
Went over on it
Yes it must have been due to tiredness, a bit like Dragusin last season.
There was no obvious whack or complexity, just a run down the line in the last few minutes and somehow bent his foot under himself rather than running as usual.
Hopefully he is young enough to ride it out, but it could be the dreaded "ligaments" which sees him ruled out for months.

Wherever he goes we should insert some clause that says if you dont play him in more than 80% of the minutes he is fit and available then you have to pay us a huge fee on top.

It's vital he gets some game time to continue developing.

Doubt anyone would accept that, but it's an issue of picking the right club (we seem to be getting better at that with Keeley, Phillips, Solomon, etc getting lots of game time last year), and pulling the loan (having clauses to) if they don't play.

But yes, he needs a good 40+ game season to kick on.
