Looks like 3 of the things Lee McQueen said on LWOS last week that he had been told were going to happen have now occurred, or look like they will (Cullen and Munn going, Frank coming in).

Will be interesting to see if the information on the scrapping of the hotel projects and Levy going before the new season starts are right too - and Charrington then coming in as interim Chair.
Wasn't Charrington on Companies House?

He was already appointed as an Non Exec Director a few months back but nothing about him taking over as Chairman, interim or otherwise.
If he does it might indicate a sale is closer than it's ever been.
He's an M&A guy iirc from what I read at the time.
It might also have a bearing on the hotel - why get tied in with an operator/franchise now if new ownership is in the offing? It would be a reason to put it on hold at least.

I think the wages would suggest a slimming of outgoings which means they are pleasing the banks who service our loans and make ourselves more attractive to a buyer

Maybe it's that we are lower than average for a large football club, Chelsea quote 958 employees in their accounts , all club accounts show staff numbers and usually they don't include temporary matchday staff.
I’ve been told we have one of the very highest around because so many things at the club are multi purpose
They can’t include temps as they are nearly a always subcontracted (in our case they are for sure)

For me personally, when I renew my season tickets I do it because I want a release and to have something to look forward to most weeks and to be entertained.

Last season was the opposite of that, I was dreading going to games and it became a chore. Whilst the cup win was fantastic, the overall experience of the season was dreadful. Once was enough for me

This, the pain of a bad season (especially when losing at home regularly) is something different.

I can tune out away losses, but the cost/time commitment to get to the stadium and just watch us get turned over regularly, not good and if allowed to continue would definitely influence people's renewal decisions

Accounts show an average of 619 temporary staff employed on matchdays not surprising when apart from the stewards needed inside and out there are about sixty food outlets both general admission and premium hospitality to be staffed .

The food staff are employed by levy brothers (compass)
Really not sure who the club are employing extra
The stewards and staff are through Carlisle
Unless we have done some weird split

Maybe Spurs outsource STUFF so don’t list those employees whereas LIV don’t outsource STUFF and thus do include them

These sources are guesses. The audited accounts are the only accurate source we have. It's factually the case that Liverpool paid 121m more a season than we did. It's not up for debate.

That's total wages for everyone working for the club. All players including academy and womens teams.
The first team wages are only a part of that.
