HeThat's total wages for everyone working for the club. All players including academy and womens teams.
The first team wages are only a part of that.
Of course, but the player wages will be by far the largest expense of that bill. So it goes without saying that the estimates from the various websites are grossly incorrect. There is no extra expense that would account for £120m difference.

The food staff are employed by levy brothers (compass)
Really not sure who the club are employing extra
The stewards and staff are through Carlisle
Unless we have done some weird split

Was it not reported during furlough that we had 450 staff on the payroll, thats what caused all the uproar at the time?

There is alot of outsourcing of staff like you say but we also have the largest footballing operation in the country, so even with a split there would be a large number of staff. I went to a conference and there were a dozen from the events team there who are full time and that likely only represents a fraction. I would imagine the training ground staff alone would be a huge number.

We have about 700-800 now I think
Plus subcontractors such as food and stewards

Yeh sounds about right.........I have worked in one of the worlds largest hotels and the background operation at Spurs is nearly as big and anything I saw there, can't be underestimated
It’s huge
I was told by some people in the food industry that our operation was the largest in sport
May not be the case anymore of course

On employment figures and wage bills , Liverpool seem to employ an awful lot of people, specifically says in their accounts that the full time employees which numbers 1,011 are those doing more than 20 hours per week, it then goes on to state that on match days and non-match days they employ an average of 2,109 part time temporary staff. Goodness knows why they need so many.

Two facts that can be found re Spurs wage bill in the accounts are that the directors received pay of £5.068 million, of that Levy took the lions share at £3.7 million, and also out of the total wage bill of £221 million for the whole club the women's side which employs a total of 60 inc. the players received £3.446 million.

I googled it and got this

"Tottenham Hotspur's plans for a hotel near their stadium have been approved and are now slated to be completed in time for UEFA Euro 2028. The hotel will be a 30-storey building, originally planned as 22-storeys but increased in height after gaining approvals. The 180-room hotel will be the third-largest conference venue in London."

I'm guessing it is the last bit that is the real financial attraction. "3rd largest conference venue in London." I've done conferences in places like MGM Grande, Vegas with 20k employees. It won't be anywhere near that, but pitched at the right level of business would be a real money spinner. Be interesting to see what revenue line generates and how big it is. I believe we already do some smaller conferences in the East stand of the stadium.

It all adds up.
Lucky we have a refugee crisis … that hotel will be fully booked out …. Cha Ching.
