*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v AFC Bournemouth ***

We’re so naive at times, at 3-1 Udogie was tripped, but he got up and tried to keep going.
I remember that, clear as day yellow card, ref played advantage and never went back to book the Bournemouth player. We are on the wrong end of far too many of these brick nothing decisions this season. Yea everyone will talk about The Pool offside and Romero (which I think was a yellow and no more anyway), but these small ones add up massively and we’re getting screwed with them. Death by a thousand cuts.

We had one exactly the same against Brentford too - Udogie powering through with a man around his neck… nothing given.

Efan Ekoke - on the world TV feed - called Lo Celso's delivery the pass of the match. He hit it so quickly and instinctively. And to think we were looking at get rid of him. He's been a solid contributor over this tough stretch and he brings a Lamela-like love of schithousery.
Gio is a quality player. He'll have off games, but he offers something that only Maddison can. Will be interested to see what we end up doing with him.

...and sad to see Sarr and Veliz in tears...is it the pitch, wrong shoes, nutrition , physio or are we just cursed?

I think it is young players taking on a huge workload. The Veliz injury is just terrible luck. I'd wager Sarr is still growing into his body, plus he's playing more football than he ever has. The workload is enormous on these players, they are doing heroically given who's missing.

I think that's a great point, when you're young and inexperienced you think you can run forever and win every challenge and at times over exert yourself.

I mean, when we sit back and allow ourselves to really absorb WTF has happened at our club since July, it is beyond incredible. we'd be 6 points ahead at the top at least if we had just two more starters available and not lost them to long term injuries. Incredible.
