it’s a one game ban (Fulham) isn’t it? Or you mean if he gets another yellow re Palace which will then take him out for Chelsea?
 
The second yellow is inexcusable. I can live with the professional foul, but that dive is horrendous. If Bentancur were fit I'd bench Bissuma upon his return.
 
Bissouma was out standing for us this season. Sending someone off for a dive outside the box seems a bit harsh to me. Ok, inside the box, sure. But outside, really? În a sea of rival players, Really? I would have waived for the game to continue and leave it at that. Why ruin a game for that? Hope we have him back soon. I want to see him, Madds and Bentancur boss the midfield.

As someone said in the var thread, as long as it’s consistent and other similar incidents are treated with a card then I’ve got no problem with the yellow for that.

He's unlikely to make the same mistakes again and he's being punished already and he knows how the team suffered. I don't think extra punishment is actually necessary.

If he isn't contrite and only Ang and the inner circle will know if that's the case then sure punish himp further but otherwise tha reaction is a little ott.

I very much doubt you would have been happy if it was the other way a round and one of their players blatantly dived without consequence.

Have a feeling we won't see more than one second yellow for diving for the rest of the season, and we'll be lucky to even see one. It was a very brave call from the ref.

It’s a dive, it’s a yellow, it doesn’t ruin the game
