There would be a few but nowhere near as many as what the geordies did, courtesy of the fact that the further north you go the more dumb and seemingly inbred the locals appear to be.

Question and not being a wnaker as I genuinely can't recall everyones views, did you take issue with things like the Furlough Scheme, Super League and things like booking Beyonce without council approval and the impact on the locals?

I wonder how many of the original concerns mentioned that people took exception too were based on moral standards or simply not liking Levy though.

If its a moral standpoint where you don't like Levy and Co because of furlough or the Superleague stance thats absolutely fine but you have to be consistent about your views IMO.

I suspect however like with most things that cash is king and these so called burning issues becomes less important to people based on success. That's then becomes less about morals.

If Sheikh Mohammed was our owner and we won two league titles and a CL, I doubt people would blink about him kidnapping his daughter or trying to have his wife killed. But if you don't get the required permission from the council for a concert it makes you Idi Amin

It's absolutely about being consistent in your views. A moral compass is one thing people should be able to uphold. It costs nothing. In the main it only costs when someone buys it from you.

In response to both, yes!!!!!

I dislike the blind spots which Levy and co have hit with regards to footballing matters, and I certainly don't think they're 100% 'clean' (I believe no-one who has amassed wealth has done so without fudging at least a few people sadly) however compared to some of the awful owners we could end up with, they're peachy creamy! I have always said the reason the Poch era/CL Final ultimately hurt so much is because we were metaphoric inches from showing you could have it all; class, unity, familialism and trophies WITHOUT massive money /blood money. My football hypocrisy would not stop me watching us were we to have an owner like that, but it would be compromised for sure.

That's what enic could have done. Gbp800m in bank loans the balance between investments in property development, events and football performance ought to be better.

- Got lucky with banks calling their loans and fudging the previous owner with the debt (if the debt hadn't been cleared Liverpool would have been fudged)
- Got smart & lucky with 2-3 sales that were massively overvalued that allowed them to invest heavily in 2-3 players that made a huge impact.
- Very questionable how their players somehow are more "intense" than anyone else in Europe (yet have cycles where they clearly aren't)
