*** Spurs v Liverpool OMT ***

Ten of them in about 45 minutes in our last three games. We'd have two wins and a draw if these matches started in the 22nd minute, LOL.

Shame about that brainfart assist for Jota, otherwise we were very good, especially in the second half. Deserved so much more, but again margins weren't on our side.

Overall there's a lot of positivity to be taken from the last two matches, in terms of effort, fight and morale - despite the results, we showed that the Saudi Sportswashing Machine game was not a real reflection of the quality in the squad.

But there are serious issues for us to fix defensively, and we need a pretty big overhaul of the squad. We absolutely must keep Kane, even if he doesn't sign a new contract. And we need our new, permanent manager in quickly, to give him as much time as possible to work with the squad and transfers. We can't afford another Nuno appointment - we need our guy in as soon as we can when the season is over.
The rest of this season will show us who should stay at best. And it appears that Mason can get a reaction from the players after terrible starts.

People need to stop whinging at klopp, the referee, conspiracy’s and any other crap you can think of.

One person is to blame for what happened and he is called lucas moura.

A disgraceful bellend who did the same at everton.

Or does he get a free pass for Ajax away? We didn’t even go on to win the final so fudge him.
I think it's reasonable to complain about al the things that went against us - but not some sort of shadowy conspiracy. Refs and VAR not making decisions that deeply impact the game should be called out. Obviously not going 3-0 down after fifteen minutes would help.

And Moura should never even train with the squad again let alone make the squad.

This notion of a clear and obvious mistake is super galling. If VAR shows the ref got it wrong then the decision should be over turned.
I don't know what the ref's decision was after Richalisons was pulled by his shirt as my stream slowed down ..but that is a penalty..he had hold of his shirt long enough..
anyway..one day..just one day.. things must turn in the right direction for this club..

I didn’t see any blatant mistakes and that is what it takes to overturn the referee.

Its swings and roundabouts look at us against brighton…

Moura is what happens when you're down to just two wingbacks. The alternative would have been to bring on Tanganga, but at the point the subs were made we were still down 3-2. Had it been 3-3, I don't think Moura makes it onto the pitch. At the same time one could ask, why take off Porro and Perisic with just 6 mins left? That's something that we cannot know.

I'm having a hard time atm, with serious depression. Watching this team hasn't made it any better to put it mildly. I need a bit of joy in my life, gets it with a good comeback, only to be smacked in the face by some absolute magnificent roostering up. fudge you Spurs!

Truly sorry to hear that pal

I have had a hard time recently also with my old man etc, I have shut as much of this season as I can TBH and almost trained myself to think forward. Although its not as easy as that and as I show on my own postings, hard to give up totally.

Hope all goes well for you though mate, you are one of my fav posters on here so all the best

I think we would be better off with almost anyone else than Moura, especially after today. Despite the injury list.

I have at least got to the point that I have admitted to myself that I need help, and managed to take the giant leap and contact professionals for help. But that's for another thread.
Appreciate the support!

Actually thinking more about this it isn’t moura is it, its actually a spurs thing. He doesn’t do what he does today and against everton playing for any other club. And all the other useless pricks down the years who have done similar wearing our shirt.

Its the shirt itself. Something irrevocably changed with this club firstly and unsurprisingly when we inexplicably allowed woolwich on our doorstep, then again it worsened when the double winning team somehow didn’t build on what they achieved, and then it took an even bigger nosedive when Sugar took over our club and boxed us in to a tiny stadium and took little interest in making us competitive at the top of the league.

Everything else is a symptom of these three seismic events that have combined to destroy the true potential of this club.

Well done for getting help! Wasn’t got to post/admit this but I myself had to go to the doctors and get anti depressants. Feel much better now. Had a series of events in my personal life that contributed to it, the catalyst was mainly my mum having to go into a care home, she’s 73 and has dementia. In the grand scheme of things, football is very low down on my priorities at the moment and I’ve got to a point where it really doesn’t get to me that much anymore.

I’m also sorry for your troubles and glad you’re feeling better. Spurs certainly don’t help!
