*** Leicester v Tottenham Hotspur OMT ***

Bit if we signed them you would have said we were being cheap

So, let me put it as simply as I can: if you have Championship level quality in defense, and then you sign some Prem relegation- level defenders, it is a step up in quality.

It also isn't what a top six club should ever be doing.

How's that?

your trying to deflect from conte
2 of that back 3 were outstanding last week
Maybe you missed that game
The difference was we were much organised

Not seen any of that
I even looked
Built what side?
He doesn’t build anything
He lets the DOF do that and mason he doesn’t have enough of what he wants

You're not looking very hard.

"He said: "It is not only in the match with Conte. It is all day, every training session. He is like a police sergeant.

"We felt something very special in his atmosphere, for three years with him at Juventus and two years in the national team.

"When you finish training, you are dead. Not tired -- dead. You can do it only because you believe in what he does.

"You are 100 percent with him. He creates an atmosphere, everyone gives energy to each other. For sure he is one of the very best."

I am guaranteeing this, mate - guaranteeing it.

Ben Mee, Lewis Dunk, Tim Ream, Diop...

..all of them are miles better than any if Tanganga, Dier, Davies and Sanchez.

Miles. It isn't close. As a set, they are worse tah every defender at about 17 other PL sides. Maaaaaaaybe a bit better than Soton's, that's it.

I agree coaching has a role to play and Conte has not coached them at all well.

But those four are the perennial evidence that you simply cannot polish turds.
They really ain't, Diop who West Ham marched out, Tim Ream who is a third rate US CB

But we won't agree as I've just seen other replies which is fine

But OK, let's side on the players are not any cop, I still don't see this so called world class management mind with changes, system changes, tactical substitutions. He decided to play Japhet today who has been poor this season, Sanchez is better regardless of the argument on Sanchez overall quality, Son has stunk out the place for most of the season (and I'm a huge Son fan) and has been bulletproof.

Yes back him, get him the players he needs I agree, but he needs to show more...alot more and alot more than this dour sulky exterior which in other environments would spread an equal feeling of negativity.....

That's exactly what I was referring to - that game last week that fooled people into thinking these wastes were good. It's what's kept these fools at the club for close to a decade in the case of Dier and Davies, and half a decade in the case of Tanganga and Sanchez.

They drop a mediocre performance in one game, and then people forget how atrocious they sre for the other 9 out of 10.

It's not you, it's half our fanbase, the board, and Conte too. More than anything, I blame him for not realizing what charlatans he's been dealing with in these players - stealing a living for far too long.

What does that have to do with anything?

It's one game playing next to Tanganga, Dier and Davies. Royal came on and those dozers immediately conceded another.

All on them, mate, snd criminal we haven't dropped them to the U18s or cancelled their contracts outright, years ago.

Disgraceful.

Picking Porro today was a dereliction of duty. fudging away game, we’ve been trying to be more solid and he drops the lad who has been MOTM in his last two PL games, who admittedly can’t attack but can defend. Ripped any solidity apart especially when you also had Tanganga on that side who isn’t a starter.

Eric fudging Dier?!? Jesus Christ. That was the worst game he’s had in our shirt. A little unlucky for the second but he’s in the wrong place. Abysmal for the third and abysmal for the fourth. How many goals has he cost us since November? He was embarrassing today.

Thought Bentancur and PEH were about the best we had. The front 3 were horrendous too. Son seems to be getting it but he was the least brick of the 3.

Conte? I’m still on the Conte train but starting to check the terms and conditions for how to get a refund. Today was nowhere near acceptable. He has serious questions to answer.

On Porro, I thought he was frighteningly bad but did show some glimpses of why we signed him. I’m sure he’ll come good so I don’t want to rush to judgement on him. But we all heard he wasn’t good defensively. Why we started him today, in an away game with a weakened defence? Defies logic.

That was actually a fairly standard Dier performance. He's that bad.

It was frantic today and we got sucked into it. Just giving the ball away constantly.

No
Conte ist the issue
He isn’t he charlatan
He is kidding people that he is a coach but actually he is a Cauchy when it works and he has his fully assembled team
But until then he is utter brick
He is a negative influence on everyone and everything unless it’s going his way
It’s been like that his whole managerial career
I wish he had the balls to Jack it in but he knows he won’t get another top job now

I’m not even a critic of him by the standards on this board but I thought today he was even worse than normal. It’s basic fudging defending.

On the third, you show him the line and force him down that side. You don’t allow him turn you inside out and get a sight of goal.

On the fourth, you don’t give him the large part of the goal to shoot at. That’s criminal.

For me, that was by far his worst game for us.

I think choosing between Tanganga and Sanchez is like choosing between two piles of horsecrap for dinner - either way, it's not particulsrly appealing.

Agreed more broadly, though - he is a stubborn man, and his stubborness is costing us badly. Especially with Sonny - it is a mockery of meritocracy that he plays 30 games while stumbling around like a spasticated horse, while Richarlison and Danjuma are on the bench, watching this crap.

Personally I'd say Sanchez is much better thsn Tanganga and I'm not sure how the latter has become the preferred option of the two.

I’m not
I agree
I also don’t trust the sources
The bloke is an arse
The somber he leaves, which we know he wants, the better for the club

Well, I can't do more than provide you sources mate - up to you if you eant to believe them or not. But nothing will get better if he leaves, I guarantee you that.

Nothing. He is not the biggest problem - the players are, and the next coach will have to make do with these miserable bombscares who will fail him too.
And we will not be able to replace all of them in the summer because the club won't spend what's needed to do so. And the cycle continues - more coaches, sacked because of Eric f*cking Dier, Ven Davies, Davinson Sanchez and the rest of the clownshow.
