Our midfield have already blown their load fitness wise, Hoddle predicted it to a tee as early as ten minutes in.
Sorry but Poch needs to have a word with himself. Starting to lose faith with him. Not difficult to see this shape is terrible defensively constantly stretched. No protection for back four. Going forward looks nice but we can’t defend. Our best sides were always stingy under Poch. Not anymore.

But charging round the pitch will only make up for the deficiencies for so long. Ultimately, Bayern got their foot on the ball and in the last five minutes before half time it was just a matter of time. They'll be a lot fresher than us in the changing room. I think we're screwed.
It's weird going into a game with fudging abysmal, dire tactics. Everyone can see it. I'm afraid when managers blatantly play brick tactics that cost results its P45 time.

Well, probably our best half of the season, we were not utterly appalling, plenty to work on but you can tell we’ve been practising some offensive plays, the x’s actually moved to recognisable schemes.
Despite playing with 9 men Bayern are more effective than I expected to be fair.

We did well for 30 minutes and should have scored more goals. We need to be clinical in these games and we weren't. We then seemed to tire after a rapid start, which is fair enough, but we need to be more clever. The last minute of the half... just get the ball clear when you have the chance. We need better judgement when it comes to what we should do at which times. It's not the first time this has happened this season. Clear that ball up the pitch and the whistle goes.
