But Walcott was always crap. Sancho is the real deal.
At the time people thought Walcott was the real deal - better than Bale remember!!

Well impressed with what Sancho is doing over there and I think he should now be making the squad to come on with 20 minutes left after Sterling has stopped running into people.

I would have no problem with that and you may be right. But ( imo) he does not need to play for England until the club are sure he is over his injury problems.

He just played an intense 90 minutes against Barcelona for his club; surely it’s a bit hypocritical to then say he’s not ready to play any minutes for his country?

If English fans want the national team to reach its potential, we can’t keep acting with outrage every time the national manager picks a player who is currently fit enough to play 90 minutes for his club. We can’t keep giving such total priority to clubs.

I bet you Sterling plays today and then pulls out of yet another squad with his "back injury"

Winks is not yet fully fit and the last thing we need is for him to break down again playing for England, just like what has happened to Ali.

But don’t you think that if he’s played 90 mins twice in 3 days for his club then it’s a bit hypocritical to say he’s not fit enough to play any minutes for his country? Or are you saying you know it’s hypocritical, but the club is justified in focusing only on its own interests?
