Summer 2018 transfer thread

Yeah but will they build kane a shiny new stadium to announce him signing a contract ... didn't think so

I hope its Higuian and Mertens moving to Chelski and Hazard going to Real

Now Belgium are out we should soon see Alderweireld to Utd, Martial and DeLigt to Spurs

Can't believe the timing of this overshadows the semi finals - hopefully Kane scores a brace against Croatia and reclaims the limelight.

Just looking at some of the "articles" (term used very lightly) from that writer :
West Ham must swoop for Sissoko
West Ham must swoop for Chadli
West Ham must swoop for Forsberg
West Ham must swoop for Lookman
West Ham must swoop for Mee

Perhaps a thesaurus is in order to use alongside the scattergun

Probably the strangest post I've ever seen.

Scored more goals than Kane last season, in less appearances. Won the CL. Again. Will most likely win the Balon D'or. Again.
Juve 2 CL finals in 4 years and the team that knocked us out last season.

I am also surprised that Juve didn't wait till after the final to announce officially tbh.

I didnt think they had that sort of money, will there be a clear out to pay for him?

Hell of a player, even at 33, and if you want to prolong your career then Serie A is the place to be.

Everton leading race to snap up Yerry Mina in £21m deal
Everton look to have won the race to sign Barcelona’s Colombian defender Yerry Mina on a permanent deal.

The 23-year-old only joined Barca in January and impressed at the World Cup, scoring three goals, including the dramatic late equaliser against England.

However, with the Nou Camp giants wanting to bring another non EU player, they have to free up space in order to do it.

Liverpool and Tottenham were also interested in his signing, but Goal report that it is Everton who are close to sealing a deal for his services for a fee of £21 million.

Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham all battling for Croatia star
One of the men who could derail England’s World Cup hopes is the centre of a transfer battle between Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham.

Interest in Eintracht Frankfurt striker Ante Rebic is rising almost daily.

According to SPORT BILD, Manchester United, Arsenal FC and SSC Napoli are all in the Croatian international. And this is after Tottenham registered their interest weeks ago.

Croatia assistant boss Ivica Olic has other ideas however: “Ante is one for Bayern.”

And new Bayern Niko Kovac has history with Rebic. He called him up to the Croatia team and signed him for Frankfurt.

However, Rebic will cost about 50 million euros transfer fee and Bayern have never paid so much money for a player.
