We shouldn’t underestimate how good a win this was. We lost our talisman before 30 minutes still 1-0 down against a Bournemouth team who, although not great, have beaten both Chelsea and Arsenal this season. Well done lads thought Bournemouth would claw it back.

I’m staying away more often! A bit of humble pie again but couldn’t possibly return here until at least 5:45 like I said.

Yes, international break and FA Cup weekend coming at a very handy time.

Pretty damning indictment of our back-up out and out CF that he didnt get brought on. Need to fix that in the summer

Will we find a back up forward who can perform to a similar level as Son?

Im up for a better forward than Llorente coming in but we seem to do better with a false 9 (?) in place of Kane

I don’t think so, they were pretty comfortable dealing with Harry and they have struggled against pace before, it was clearly an effort by Poch to change things.

Bournemouth with a legitimate goal disallowed while Spurs score an offside goal and an illegaly taken free kick goal. The amount of decisions that have gone for them this season is quite incredible.

I agree. With them a goal up, likely to sit deep and an hour on the clock, the craft of Lamela was always going to be more useful than the strength of Llorente.

I can understand the criticism of the disallowed Bournemouth goal. Looks like there's barely contact. Possibly enough to get sanchez out of balance, but who knows. The other goals I'm not sure why they complain about. On the son goal, you could see ake's foot drawn on the wrong side of the offside line, so how the fudge can you use that as a judge. Either way, extremely marginal, so no lino would ever call that with certainty.

You know what, I think he’s less back up than plan b.

If we’d have needed a goal with ten to go then I think we’d have seen him. As it was, Son was the next CF option in a normal game situation.

I do feel for Llorente though. 15 PL goals last year for a sub-mid table outfit says he’s clearky if enough quality, but I guess he needs regular minutes.
 
Job done, always was going to be a potential banana skin.

Came back from goal down, and killed game in end so no squeaky bum required.

Deal with FA Cup, take the international break and move on.
