*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Bournemouth ***

By the way, what a MASSIVE decision from Mike Dean.

Big Sanchez got pushed lightly in the back, we concede but it is disallowed. To be fair Trippier and someone else in the box put their arm up immediately, but it was a VERY missable foul, great refereeing (for us)

Missable and gentle but one that you should always get

Can I just put it out there... we have won every game that aurier has foul thrown in!!! That’s an omen

Funny how no one holds keepers to account for lunging for the ball, missing it, and taking out the player and injuring him.

If that was a defender that’s a nailed on foul.

Absolutely right.

An outfield player and that’s a booking, at least. Missed the ball, scissors challenge, clearly dangerous play.

yeah, but you don't get a pen if you are flagged offside before being fouled

if Begovic had punched Kane he'd have been carded, it was a typical keeper spread and a coming together, I didn't see any malice in it and would be furious if our keeper was booked for doing the same

Oh, sure - that’s what I mean. No goal / pen because the offside was right.

But the keeper could / should still be sanctioned for the foul. And sure; no malice intended, but there doesn’t have to be.

I know they’re rarely given and I do understand why, but it’s a strange quirk in the interpretation of the law that skews toward keepers.

It’s a little incongruous in an era of less and less physical contact.

It’s the same both ways, forwards are rarely booked for catching the keeper.

I agree it’s inconsistent, the attitude of “he has to go for it” pervades.

No mate, with all due respect, beating a midtable club to go up to 3rd is not a big game. By any stretch of the imagination.

We did show good bottle though to come back after going down and Kane coming off.

Great result considering everything, happy with the team today. Must have been very difficult to motivate themselves after the mid week game.

Like the art of British comedy "it's all about the timing!"
The timing of this particular win was immeasurable!

Excellent win today.
Front line were very good once we had to rejig.
If it wasn't for sonny scoring the 2nd I'd have had dele as MOTM.
Wanyama and Rose looked a bit rusty still.
And get well soon Harry.

I know what you're saying, but bear in mind that Begovic lunged at Kane with his testicles, and fiercely placed one testicle either side of his ankle.
Also bear in mind that Kane actually planted his foot himself at a twisted angle, a fraction of a second before Begovic landed on it... Kane would have been fine if he had planted his studs down but he put all his weight onto the side of his foot and then Begovic's testicles landed on his ankle. Also, Begovic's penis and perineum and anus. And let me tell you, Begovic has a very heavy midsection, once that lands on you, you really struggle to get air into your lungs.
