Harry Kane MBE

After seeing so many of our best players leave to win trophies at other clubs I will not be so naive as to assume Kane loves Spurs so much that he would not want to leave us for a better opportunity to win trophies in the next 2 or 3 seasons

I'm not so sure, Kane strikes me as being a Shearer type where he'd rather play for "his team" than go somewhere to win trophies.
Kane even said himself within the last week he’ll stay here as long as we win trophies. The idea he’s going to stay at Spurs just to bet Shearers record is nothing short of delusional......

Game winning hat-tricks in the FA Cup, Champions League and World Cup finals will ensure he stays here for his entire career, imo.

Don't forget one of Kane's heroes:

Totti spent his entire career at Roma, winning a Serie A title, two Coppa Italia titles, and two Supercoppa Italiana titles. He is the second-highest scorer of all time in Italian league history with 250 goals, and is the sixth-highest scoring Italian in all competitionswith 316 goals.[7] Totti is the top goalscorer and the most capped player in the club's history, holds the record for the most goals scored in Serie A while playing for a single club, and also holds the record for the youngest club captain in the history of Serie A.

A creative offensive playmaker renowned for his vision, technique, and goalscoring ability, Totti is considered to be one of the greatest Italian players of all time,[8][9][10][11][12][13] one of the most talented players of his generation,[14][15][16] and Roma's greatest ever player.[17] He won a record eleven Oscar del calcio awards from the Italian Footballers' Association: five Serie A Italian Footballer of the Year awards, two Serie A Footballer of the Year awards, two Serie A Goal of the Year awards, one Serie A Goalscorer of the Year award, and one Serie A Young Footballer of the Year award.

A 2006 FIFA World Cup winner and UEFA Euro 2000 finalist with Italy, Totti was selected in the All-Star team for both tournaments; he also represented his country at the 2002 World Cup and Euro 2004. He also won several individual awards, notably the 2007 European Golden Shoe and the Golden Foot. In 2004, he was named in the FIFA 100, a list of the world's greatest living players as selected by Pelé, as part of FIFA's centenary celebrations.[18] In 2011, Totti was recognised by IFFHS as the most popular footballer in Europe.[19] In November 2014, Totti extended his record as the oldest goalscorer in UEFA Champions League history, aged 38 years and 59 days.

The 100PL mark should be reached in February.

I really didnt he could equal Defoe's Spurs Goal tally this season, but barring injuries, on current form he will do by May and be in the Top 5. Unreal
