Young players we should look at

Only heard the name a few weeks ago
Didn’t como buy him
Theh are buying a lot of players

Yes. Pacy. Decent shot.

Another is Eli J Kroupi. Maybe if Lankshear played in the French second tier he’d also look excellent idk. But plenty of clubs around Europe have their eye on him.

Joao mendes 19yo Brazilian left footed midfield at Burnley
Ex Barcelona youth ...bit of a gamble but good genes

Andy diouf from lens - 21yo French and highest dribbling defensive midfielder in the French league. good range of passing and strong too.

very promising and cheap now, crystal palace making enquiries
Not sure how legit this is, but looks like we may already be looking at him.

Thought I’d start a thread on players we should maybe keep an eye on for the future
I thought there was one but I can’t see it

One for me is Rasmus Højlund at Atalanta

6 ft 4
Two footed
Big guy but from what I’ve seen of him, he can play and can score too
19 so young but will develop nicely
Looks like a real player in the making

Not too sure about this one, but he might be available tbf

Let’s see what happens when he leaves United and gets a semblance of confidence back
United for most players can be a step too far because of the expectation
For a young player going into a mess of a United set up it’s even harder

is 24 still considered young?
Charles de ketelaere is impressive, reminds me a bit of kaka
and he is belgian and left footed too. currently AM in serie A, paratici's playground

Very nice player
My worry is when he went to Milan he was like a rabbit in the headlights.., but they could be the mess Milan were in
I’ve thought he was quite a unit but @Kandi1977 and I have already had that convo
I know @Finney Is Back is a fan too

this young chap is one to look out for - quick, hardworking, skillfull and gets stuck in. and we need a young AM understudy. imo dribbles much better than odobert

Porbably too young, and needs to develop at home for now. But could well develop and be unattainable in the future.

Oderbert looks like he can develop and step up under Frank too. But this teenager looks like he has all the atributes to go on in the game.

Threatening down the left would make us far more potent. As we'd create more space in the middle and on the right. Atm opposition teams just pack the middle and right because we don't have a potent attack on the left.

I don't believe we need any more young players at this point of the season, we need players who can walk straight into the 1st team and improve it. We have Gray, Bervall, Sarr, Udogie, Katai, Melia, Tel, Odobert, Simons with Lankshear, Ajayi, Yang, Vuscovic, Moore plus others on loan. With Williams-Barnett, Byfield, Thompson, Olusesi in the wings

Looks good, Oderbert is definitely looking better. I'd like us to still keep adding youngsters where it makes sense too.

Mala looks a talent - his drive and physique as much as anything. Still got a lot to develop.

We need whoever is playing to step up and command respect down the left. Right now (or tomorrow) that looks like Spence and Odobert. I’d like them both to click and show determination to put a team to the sword. 🗡️ There is also the CM, and forwards who need to be there offering diagonal passes in the build up.

With teams focusing on our right we have to exploit the gaps and stretch them. That will help Kudus no end.

There are question marks about Odobert when he’s starting - sensational as a sub against a tiring team, can he help work the ball down the left against fresh opponents? Spence has looked up for the challenge. But it is about that whole team coordination and quick passes - which we saw down the right for the first disallowed goal against Brentford. We desperately need players to settle on the left and show potency.
