World Cup 2026 - Qualifiers

I'd have Sander Berge at Spurs. He's been tremendous the last 2-3 seasons. Very good holding midfielder.
Haven't seen much of him other than against us and for Norway, but he always looks solid. The right kind of player for us.

Watching Ødegaard I'm also annoyed he ended up at that lot down the road. He oozes quality. I hope in time Bergwall can become a similar player.

Yeah, Norway were rather good last night. We've still got 5 games to play in our group, yet the punditry are cumming all over themselves that we're going to the first world cup in 25 years. It's like they don't know this sport. Norway always always always fudge up in situations where winning is taken for granted. Now watch us lose to Estonia or Moldova and everyone having a meltdown.

Exactly what I thought today as well. It was a brilliant game and a great win, no doubt, but if we lose focus and lose one or two of the upcoming "easier" games, those three points against Italy will be wasted.

It's got Scotland written all over it. We should do it, of course, but complacency and expectations and all that jazz.

Nusa has been brilliant for Norway so far, still think he could've been good for us. Deserved lead for Norway.

Great player and exactly suited for us. I believe Ange wanted him...so did Thomas Frank...did he fail his medical at Brentford or was it with us? I can't remember, but I do remember thinking 'why can't we get this over the line?!!!'

We should try and broker a deal based of matches played, £10m per 40 matches played, plus a sell on. If he lasts 5 seasons, they get £50m

It was at Brentford. He does get injured quite a lot, unfortunately. An absolute gem when he's playing out on the flank though. Weirdly, Leipzig plays him in the center of the pitch.
