Where you live

I almost got side-tracked on another thread with a discussion of where I lived... which got me thinking of a new topic. I live in Inkpen, which is on the Wiltshire/Hampshire/Berkshire border, and I think it has to be one of the prettiest places in England... what about the rest of you Randomites?view from Coombe Gibbet.jpg

St. Albans

Liverpool? On the waterfront?

Wookie - I'm from Borehamwood, used to drink in St Albans and catch the train home.

Lol......I actually live on Gascoigne Avenue!! :)

Hmm... Gazza and Scholes would have been a good midfield. Looks as if Barwick is a major upgrade on Borehamwood... I remember my mum used to drag me to Bejam's in Borehamwood when I was about 5! We didn't have a frozen food emporium in Bushey!

Lovely town imo. I would have moved away from the area by now if this town wasn't here. Decent people, always things going on, so many pubs and restaurants and 20 minutes to London.

YEah you could say that!!

Borehamwood is a MAJOR hole!! Lol.....Bejam's?? Brings back memories! I still go home alot to see my Mum and its a great reminder of why I love it up north!

Barwick is lovely....a proper village that has a real sense of community and all the local amenities that you'd want, but only 15 minutes drive into a major city, best of both worlds.

Yeah St. Albans has always been lovely, it reminds me alot of a southern York, but York is bigger. Very nice area, as are the villages around it. Radlett is lovely as well.
