Vincent Janssen

That is why the player that we need to have in the squad needs to be a similar player to Kane but young and hungry. Kane does not work well in a two man up top system. It totally ruins his game. He needs and wants to be the focal point of the attack. The same for Llorente but in a different way. To implement Llorente you need to get a lot of balls into the box from the wide areas. We simply just do not play like that.

Wood at Burnley is a Kane type player. But its true. Anyone that comes in is going on the bench, so hence the young and Hungry.

I like Rodriguez and he has played for Poch before but I'm not sure that he is prolific enough to be a reliable understudy.
Considering Kane plays almost every week, and the form of every other understudy to Kane I’m not sure you have to be that prolific at all. With the way we play, when Kane is out you don’t have to be over reliant on the striker to score the goals, we have Dele Son and Eriksen who can all do that and have stepped up when he’s out previously. What you do need is the understudy to contribute to the overall play and that’s why I much prefer Janssen. He was holding it up well, good movement, even when his confidence was shot in terms of goals he still ALWAYS showed for the ball. Llorente has been so far below that level....

Another one that can play anywhere along the front line.

So I don’t see him as a Kane understudy

I get that and he's a player I have wondered whether we might go for before. Poch certainly knows what he is about and whether he would be a good fit or not.

I don’t think he would come. After the last 4 years think he’s happy to play every week

In a team that contains Harry Kane. I don’t think Poch is the deciding factor here, I think it’s Kane.

Disagree. It seems like Poch have a team structure and a way of playing where it almost impossible to perform (when you are suppose to) as a second striker. And that is something you cannot blame Kane for.

Son is our second striker.

Poch cant find a second striker that can deliver goals, instead he is using a winger. If that the way Poch really wants it, why does he buying second strikers with goalscoring history? Dosen't make sense.

I don't think that is true, both Son and Alli have successfully partnered Kane as a second striker.
