VAR: Sponsored by Chelsea

Athletic reporting that there will be a vote next month amongst the clubs to get rid of it. Didn't see that coming.

Personally, I'd keep it for the automated offsides and that would be it. If it's a choice between all or nothing, I'd go with nothing and I was a strong advocate for its introduction.

I really hope that we scrap it as its been a fudge up since day one, sadly i doubt they will as there is a lot of money being made by those who back it. its a joke and for the actual fans who go to the games it has been a nightmare. We live in hope though.

They can’t go back now, what kind of message would that send.

VAR is crucial to the future of football, we can’t have officiating mistakes.

I know it’s not perfect yet. But perfect is the minimum acceptable level.

Goal line tech is fine, scrap the rest.
Offside is an objective thing too so I’d be alright with that if it’s the semi automated version that gets us a decsion quickly. I know it can be frustrating when you have a decision go against you by the width of someone’s toe but I’d rather that I think. The rest I could live without.
