Just to say, for that left-wing spot, none of the options linked (Savinho, Kroupi, Marmoush, Leao) are super impressive.
But one out-of-left-field signing I'd welcome - Johan Manzambi, from Freiburg.
Yes, technically he's a central midfielder. But he can play all over the park - Freiburg have used him as a DM, CM and AM, and Switzerland have played him off the left, off the right, and as a striker.
In every single position, he's looked dangerous and adept - his ball-carrying in particular is close to unstoppable. For a young lad of 20, to have the intelligence to adapt to all of those positions as seamlessly as he's done is quite something.
I'd give it a go to try to sign him - play Manzambi off the left, maybe moving him into the middle a little later. It's what we did with Modric when he first came here - play him off the left to start.
With Manzambi on the left and Kudus on the right, our problem with keeping the ball in tight spaces would vanish.
Plus the only ones in for him at the moment (bafflingly) seem to be Saudi Sportswashing Machine, and it would be funny to pinch Tonali and their Tonali replacement as well.
