***TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR vs Chelsea OMT***

Look at that badge-kissing Jackson clam. Scoring against 9 absolutely fudged opposition players. clown shoe.

Love Ange's comments. Did this idiot of a Joe Cole just call 'Spurs' Chelsea's biggest rivals? WTF! Go play Fulham.

Can’t blame the ref to be honest. Our own discipline cost us. We battered them for 20 mins and then started doing silly things for 5 minutes before we self destructed. From what I’ve seen of the Romero challenge, it was a disgrace and he got what he deserved. Udogie also deserved his red. Second challenge I’m not sure he had to make. Our discipline cost us big time, that was not a good Chelsea team.

On the plus side, so proud of the team. Tried their fudging hearts out to the end. Every one of them. Thought Vicario, Porro, PEH and Dier were very good. Dier’s defending before the red was absolutely outstanding to force their lad towards Udogie rather than allow him down the right. The lad is a pro.

I said repeatedly that we can’t afford to lose a centre back or Maddison. Looks like we could be a while without some or all of them. We’re now gonna find out how strong our challenge for CL football is.

That’s for tomorrow to worry about. Proud of the team and the fans tonight. COYS.

Would be nice to hear some good news about Maddison and Van der Ven in the morning. Looks like we may have to start with Royal on the left v Wolves, maybe Dier and Philips in the middle and Lo Celso in midfield, then a 2-week break.

Show spirit like that on Saturday morning and we could be back top again, and if Chelsea turn up and take a point off City next weekend things we look a bit rosier going into that break

The 9 who finished the game were excellent. The 2 who got sent off cost us the game. It’s that simple.

Udogie I can cut some slack. Romero was an idiot - again, unfortunately.
Yeah Udogie is young so can cut him some slack although being on a yellow , you need to be careful. Romero , great defender , great in the ball but sometimes the negatives outweigh the positives.

you just need to be better than everyone else, this season was a gift, everyone else is brick
Yes, you do. But unless you're Leicester you are going to have injuries that expose the drop off from first 11-ish to the rest. We saw that with The Goons last season too.

absolutely, but up until KO tonight, we'd been the best team in the division by a fudging mile, everyone else is brick, all we had to do was not do a Spurs

that's the first league game this season we've not been comfortably better than the opposition, and Chelsea are brick, one of the worst sides we've faced, they had nothing, it was all about our failure tonight, that's why I'm so tinkled

we do it to ourselves

Can you just let a little helium out of your overinflated, overemotional head?

We've benefitted from a relatively soft schedule and some fortuitous reffing decisions to be top of the league going into this game. It wasn't bound to last. Some close calls and tough breaks in this game hurt us but in no way does the final outcome define how our season will turn out. There's actually a lot to build on after this game.

We've been MancCity's bogie team for years now. Go up there and win and everything is wonderful. Again. But getting three points out of Molineux will be our next big challenge.

It was. Romero had to go in hard and fast to get to the ball first, which he did. Unfortunately he also caught the Chelski dude after clearing the ball. Udogie's second yellow was poorer - he lost his head there, should never have gone for the tackle there.
He did make a mistake. And he's only playing in his 10th PL game...
