The Other Clubs Transfer Rumours and News Thread

Would have been a shame. Coming back from injury and then get injured again. I like Cabaye so I'm glad to see he is fine.

His substitutions today were met with a lot of dissent from the crowd so I think he is trying to justify them, nobody would have had a problem with taking Cabaye off given that it was his first game back but taking off Marveaux and then Cabaye meant we had no creativity on the pitch, we then let in two goals and lost. Pardew getting a lot of stick.

Taking off Marveaux when you know Cabaye isn't fit enough to play the full 90 is possible the worst substitution I've ever seen.

That was nice of Wayne, he must have spent weeks drawing the motorbike and sticking glitter to the paper, colouring it all in and stuff.

What a nice lad, to spend all that time designing it.

Will not be happy if Liverpool sign Coutinho from Inter, he is a good player with bags of potential. He has pace, can dribble and also pick out a pass.

Never been impressed by Coutinho. Been hearing potential for 3 years now, but not seen much quality. Don't think Inter are interested in selling either. Have turned down bids from both Liverpool and Villa.

In other news: Frazier Campbell has joined Cardiff on a 3.5 year deal.

I heard Southampton might be getting Coutinho on loan. Apparently the new manager got him on loan for Espanyol so knows a bit about him.

If everything goes to plan we should sign Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa, Massadio Haïdara, Moussa Sissoko and Yoan Gouffran this week.

We've just signed his soul-mate, their wives are best buddies too, he'll be going nowhere.

Wads of this says different

It is going to be very difficult for your lot if the spin of last seasons team is broken up and sold. It will be really tough task to pull off that trick successfully twice.
