He is 18 and been through the year from hell, give the lad a break FFS
He has an Olympic medal, do you ???
Granted. However, the celebration for Daley was OTT for someone who got a bronze only with the help of the kind officials allowing him to retake his dive.

any medal in the Olympics is an immense achievement
I see where you are coming from in that he celebrated as if he won the thing but to put it into context - the third best diver in that event in the world - I would be celebrating too.
Bronze is not bad and for an 18 yr old.
Especially after the year Daley has had!
The Chinese silver medalist was 19 and he wasnt crying out of pure joy, he was gutted he just fell short of Gold.
The word perspective springs to mind...
His father's dream was just to see his son dive at his home olympics, unfortunately he died a year before the olympics. His father was his best friend. Imagine trying to train for an olympics, after your father has diedknowing your nation expects you to medal, the kid is 18 years old for fudge sake. That is not an age to have that amount of brick on your shoulders.Granted. I think it's shocking to be so disappointed to get silver. You're the 2nd best in the world! Perspective indeed.
Third - bronze
I mean the Chinese guy.
He was only crying as he knew when he gets home he will be put in the salt mines for the rest of his life for not winning gold
