The Official 2014/15 Premier League Thread

It makes you sick doesnt it, I dont ever watch any pre or post match stuff on Sky now, its ****-suckingly ****

Just wish they would for once talk about the obscene amount of money these clubs fork out to be #1 and #2

Then they throw in a Jose post match interview with him saying Chelsea fans are fantastic people for applauding Lampard...ffs:ross:

£2.5bn spent between them, they have definately done things the right way

Where's the quality outside the top 3 in Spain?

The gaps are much bigger at the top in Germany as well.

Sevilla who have won shed loads in Europe the last few years are a good side.

Bilbao have some very good players and are a good side.

Valencia are always up there.

People forget there's a lot of pony teams in the premier league outside the top 6. Christ, we finished 6th last season and we got numerous hammerings!

EDIT: Forgot to add, Barca were unbeaten against both Madrid sides last season and yet still lost 5 games.

Mate, bottom half in Spain aren't even Championship quality, sorry, strikers just fill their boots there against a lot of dross.

A bottom 4 side in the PL has a much more likely chance of beating a top 4 side, than one in Spain.

He cant win. People call him boring but then he acts like a normal fan with passion for his team and they hang him out to dry.

I guess when the bbc pay your wages they want you to be a corporate robot.

Liverpool start with Lazar Markovic, Mario Balotelli and Adam Lallana but there's no Daniel Sturridge in the squad.

Everton are without right-back Seamus Coleman so Tony Hibbert starts in his place. They have Steven Naismith and Romelu Lukaku up front as Muhamed Besic also starts.

Liverpool XI: Mignolet, Manquillo, Moreno, Lovren, Skrtel, Gerrard, Henderson, Markovic, Lallana, Sterling, Balotelli

Everton XI: Howard, Hibbert, Baines, Jagielka, Stones, Barry, McCarthy, Besic, Mirallas, Naismith, Lukaku

Sturridge still out injured, thought it wasnt anything serious, been a good few weeks now, long may it continue

Exactly the same sort of challenge as when Liverpool got the pen at WHL but as it was on an Everton player at Anfield it wasnt given, shock horror

We should thank Leicester and ManU for taking the spotlight off us last week. Normally we would have been the laughing stock for losing at home to shyte teams like WBA. But it was ManU who became the laughing stock this time for the way they threw away 3-1 lead to lost 3-5. They did that to us too many times in the past but so it was funny to see them getting done this time.

Stevie Me scores a free kick after another non foul on Balotelli was given by Atkinson, all Mario has done today is cheat constantly
