I think they did think it through. I think they intentionally wanted it after the CL final so they could celebrate both.
 
Apparently its just troll central all over social media with fans winding Arsenal fans up for losing last night. Was hoping to see some on here as i don't really do social media.

If I'm Arteta, I'm putting all of this in the changing room for the entirety of pre-season. That moat is going to get bigger and I think strengthen arsenal. The 'everyone's against us' works.

We could be doing the same given how 99% of non Spurs supporters seemed to want us to be relegated.

Exactly!!!!
They thought it would be their incredible day. Instead, they rather 'incredibly' managed to booby-trap their own title celebration. Absolutely marvelous. I mean, I've had to say nothing to my goon mates whatsoever, or any goons for that matter because they're all bitterly blubbering on about how 'at least we got there' and 'you're jealous' and 'second best team in Europe' blah blah, effectively sucking joy out of their own title win. Could not have written it any better. Plus they've now shown the world what they are. One pundit in the US said PSG's strength was being a beautiful singer trying to sing beautiful songs whilst the goons 'strength' was being able to accurately punch the singer in the throat to stop them singing. tossers forever!
