The Goon Thread

That's what I thought. Isn't his thing normally to go to a team of stars that have had enough of whoever the last guy was and he just makes them feel better and play to their ability? Arsenal have a team of average sh1te mixed with declining good players (Cech, Koscielny, Ozil).

Then again if they pay a big enough salary, I guess nothing is out of the question. But their squad, at the moment, is phucked because too many of them have been there too long and are starting to rapidly decline (see Cech and Koscielny this season, Ozil will be the next one).

I would've said he was tailor made for United, Arsenal need a fall guy (a Moyes) whilst they get Wenger out of their system.

And they are all cry babies

It was a genuine answer to a genuine question.

Sorry, I didn't mean to be short. It's a while go and most of what he's done since is give a boost to underperforming but talented sides. I think that Arsenal need a rebuild, they are brick outside their forwards and have too many bottlers.

Said something similar to the wife earlier

They have swapped places with us

If they get a proper manager in and spend a few quid, they’ll be back challenging for top 4. They have a few quality players (Wheelchair, Aubameyang, Ozil, Ramsey and even Lacazette has more than he’s shown I suspect) so we shouldn’t get too complacent about them.

While I’m obviously enjoying this hugely, it is a bit sad seeing Wenger’s reign end like this. He’s been a great manager but he’s really holding them back at this point.

I need a shower after posting all that.

I think that it is a bigger job than that. Whoever comes in needs to weed out the bottlers and get rid of the complacency in the club. I think that it'd take a couple of summers, at least, to do that and things could well get worse before they get better. Have the fans got the stomach for it?
