It's the same with twitch, and all other new platforms. To get a foothold, you have to have at least 2 out these three:
1.Be there first/early
2. Be very very good at what you do
3. Be funny

I spent 3 hours on tiktok the first night after I found out the girl at work was in it. Not been on it since, mind numbingly stupid.

One thing I would add, you need to be a hot woman under 25 to be popular on there.
