This is a little double edged for me. I'm pretty certain I would have rather had Phillips over Davies and Dragusin if selecting a PL team in a situation where we'd lost 2 of our main 3. I very much doubt Dragu or Davies would be keeping Phillips out of the Stoke team. He's having a superb season. The question is how far along Phillips would be if he had stayed at Spurs, had minimal playing time and then stepped into poor Spurs teams.
Guys I think I say this quite a bit, but chapeau again to you two for keeping me engaged, nay actively looking forward to these, in these dark, dark times. It really was a cathartic, balanced and nuanced listen and, for my money, really well judged.Pushed Closer To The Edge
Season 6 - Episode 43
Steff and Milo look back at another Spurs defeat, this time at Sunderland, rummage around for green shots, find only dried out sod(s) and have a frank(er) discussion than ever about our potential destination.

As for the football, GHod help us now...
I'm not his biggest fan but I'd be interested in why you find it so difficult to get behind de zerbi.
Could be worse Steff. Think Man in Raincoat and Jose.I am behind him because he is our manager. On a wider scale, I suppose honestly I wanted Poch at this point (even though I suspect Milo is right re: coaching). We needed his soul. I heard rumour that he was ready to join us in the summer regardless of where we were, and I for one would find a Championship run with him at the helm galvanising the troops far more appealing and even exciting in many senses. So for me, it is the realisation that we have likely said goodbye to scratching that itch forever. Which hurts in a way. I was never a fan of DeZerbi when he was at Brighton (thought he was a jumped up clown shoe) but he is our manager and I will (of course) back him of course.
