The Fight to Qualify for the European Conference League 2020/21

Everton lost!

Even if we screw up and lose to Villa and they beat Wolves, then we'd only have to match their result on the final day to finish above them (us at Leicester, them at Man C) (though I guess two defeats would mean Arsenal could catch us)

Realistically, a win on Wed against Villa guarantees 7th at worst and European football next season

West Ham have won 1 game in their last 5. Everton are playing Emirates Marketing Project on the last day of the season.

A win against Villa should be enough to get 6th even if we lose to Leicester.

Getting in the Europa proper is essential for the ~30m it brings in. Also you skip the round of 32 now if you win the group.

oooohh Sheff Utd leading at Everton. If they could hold on to that, then given Everton finish at Man C, it would mean that us beating Villa would more or less tie up european football for us. Watch everton win 5-1 now!
You jinxed it. For Everton, you beauty!

West Ham finish at home to Southampton which has to be a pretty decent bet for 3 points...I think we really need them to drop points at West Brom in the week so that they could only get 4 more points.

I dont think we'd want to go to Leicester needing more than a draw

As of today the following cannot catch us :-

gw 36 - Aston Villa
gw 34 - Wolverhampton Wanderers
gw 34 - Crystal Palace
gw 34 - Southampton
gw 33 - Saudi Sportswashing Machine
gw 33 - Brighton & Hove Albion
gw 33 - Burnley
gw 31 - Fulham
gw 29 - West Bromwich Albion
gw 28 - Sheffield United
Top half guaranteed ... woohoo !

It's probably better for our chances in the EL to have Liverpool and Chelsea in the CL, but I really hope we don't go into the final game needing a win, knowing it would also gift Liverpool a CL place. If Burnley can get something today it will at least settle the CL spots.

More importantly tonight, a win guarantees us a top 7 spot, and therefore European football next season, given our GD is 19 better than Everton

A point probably does so too, unless Everton win away at Man C on Sunday

Would really like to finish above West Ham though, and for that we probably need to win given who we both play on the final day (they finish at home to Southampton). If not, we'd have to go to leicester and win...in a same where they'll need something for CL football

West Ham finishing eight would be glorious after all the talk of them getting CL, but we'll need some Fat Sam assistance.

Just wouldnt be Spurs to have made the rest of the evening and Sunday easy would it?

Need Palace to hold on, and then Man C to beat Everton on Sunday....I have zero faith that our lot will do anything but get whacked by leicester. And that only gets the conference thing....

Too much to expect from our players. They don't handle high expectations and pressure that well.
