THE DOGS OF GLORY GLORY

With the unveiling of Conor Gallagher's magnificent Chow Chow Freddy, and the subsequent elartion from several of us here, I thought it'd be fun to open up a thread where we can share our canine family.

Here's Tilly.
14 and change, still going strong despite the usual stiffer joints, an absolute heart-beat of our household and my best friend (my wife's too LOL).

Gallagher's dog is a Bichon Frise. They said it in the media blurb.
I'm not a dog person, but no way in hell that was a Bichon Frisè! Too small for a Chow chow, unless it was a puppy. Wrong color as well, but they do all kinds of weird stuff in breeding dogs now. Some of the species are completely fudged up now!

I don't have a dog myself. Would love one but herself said no way. One day maybe, but my neighbour and good friend two doors up has 6 bernese mountain dogs. Beautiful animals. One is a world champion in the breed , or so he says.

SIX? That is incredible! They are lovely, so even-tempered. Would you ask if you can post a photo of the 6? That is simply insanely great!

Bloody hell does he go out with a sack and shovel when he takes them for a walk? it bad enough with our 2 beagles.

Yes very even-tempered and insanely cuddly! They walk them every day and pass in front of my house on the way up to the college. When they were younger, they could walk 2 dogs at a time but now they are too big, so one at a time, or it would be like the chariot race in Ben-Hur.

I'll see if I get them to send me a photo of them all together. Group shoots are not the easiest I would think

I just noticed that empty plate. I guess they are wondering where their breakfast is.

This is Woody, sadly no longer with us. Named after Woodgate - the wife and kids had the choice of Woody, Allan, Stewy or Des. He liked nothing more than laying on his back showing off his talentsF23D6918-8686-4453-A274-407AC933362C.JPG
