Criminals are trying to play the old school way and they're doing even worse.

The Bazball argument is that if the pitch is dangerous and wickets are likely, you're better off with boundaries in the balls in between than singles and dots. If you're getting out quickly, you may as well try and score quicker.
 
That was worth getting up for although I must admit I didn't think that at half past 5. It's what makes cricket such a fascinating game and mugs out of commentators you never know what's going to happen with the next ball.
 
How do you think our 2nd innings will go? Dig in and build a big enough lead... or collapse for under 100!? Hard to say hey

Pitch looked to be calming down a little.

Probably will depend on how much the Aussie attack can change things up (like bringing in Stokes) if it goes flat. They have a spinner but it doesn't look like a spin wicket yet and it almost certainly won't last long enough to become one.

I certainly don't think we'll look to dig in, but if Root and Brook get properly in, I think the match is done.
