I've seen him play maybe 4 games, and that's enough for me to be ecstatic if we could get him for 20m. As you say, comparatively cheap for us. I can't see them letting him go though, even if it means tying him to another contract with a bigger release clause.

I mentioned him a while back as a possibility to replace Bale. I would be happy and far happier than if we got Willian.

Spoke to a source yesterday, reliable I might add! Said Hulk and AVB constantly in touch and positive signs he may come! Only issue would Be Wages! But fee not an issue! He wants out of Russia so that may help! Also David Luiz to Barcelona I'm told unless c****** offer a mega deal!

As i said a few weeks ago Utd deffo in for Bale and would pay our demands, Bale has no interest on going there we have no interest in selling to them.

am in nyon and lausanne this week. was told last night there is some serious ffp spotlight right now, hence madrid sales coming into press this week. also told spanish tv rights going equal spread like epl. will dent madrid/barca spending power in future. this apparently public knowledge though, had gone straight over my head.
as for bale, would be very surprised if he went awol. would be strange for him to leave agent's villa in spain and put himself under house arrest in the home counties.

The interest in Hulk from AVB has been there all along, from when he was at Chelsea right up till now. He's one of AVB's boys. Remember when AVB was snapped in the Brazilian hotel during the olympics talking to Hulk?

Fact is that it would be a huge deal for the club to get him. Zenit would want a ridiculous fee (he says it won't be an issue and maybe it wouldn't but I can see it being an issue in terms of getting everything done in time for the window closing) and then asking Hulk to take a wage-cut in all likelyhood...well we'd have to see just how badly he wants out of Russia and to play for AVB again...

Re Lamela
Looking good though not completed yet and waiting both for GB to complete and as I said last week a lot of money.
My onion is that it will happen as his 'team' very confident.
