The best Spurs team of all time - centre forward

Who was the second best centre forward to play for Spurs?

  • Total voters

True, there can only be one winner, but isn't the point to get the discussion about who else posters think highly of. Perhaps the vote just goes straight to the assistants. The standouts from teams I have seen are Nicholson and Burkinshaw, but it might be interesting to see how many votes go to Pleat, Jol and Redknapp. We could even add Sherwood to the poll to see if Scara is paying attention.

Cool. I'll start the thread. I just wanted to gauge interest. Half the fun of these threads for me has been reading people's memories of players, particularly the ones that I am too young to remember.

Me too. I either got insight into players I hadn't seen or a new appreciation of players I had see (e.g. Gilzean). Then there was just the thinking about some of the great player we have had. Another category could be favourite player. While he didn't make my first choices, Ossie was probably my favourite player.

I do not disagree with that at all.
