Did anyone listen to hawkesby and Jacobs on Talksport earlier?

At the start of the programme, the Spurs fan (Hawkesby?) said he had been at a Spurs award dinner last night, with several old players and some current staff.
He said he was dropped an incredible bit of gossip (about Spurs) that he couldn't possibly repeat at this stage..........

I wonder?????????

think he'd be a slight upgrade on Benny imo. The move would require us to move Benoit away though. No point in keeping 2 of the top 5 in their position in the league. Both are in the prime of their career (Baines is 27, BAE 28 ) and should be starting.

haven't seen anything to it though, no articles anywhere that i've seen.
 
Seems to be a lot of whisperings of this recently. Either something is actually going on or there's a lot of wagon jumping. Levy wouldn't want this to scupper any transfer negotiations obviously.

Harry is good friends with Bale and Luka and with him in charge; We have a good chance of keeping them fully focused on the pitch; Which other manager should have got Luka back to play for us last year.

Don't think there's been any links to Baines. More likely some wishful thinking from sombody. I don't really see him as an upgrade anyway. Our money and efforts are far better spent on other position.
