Which player would you like to see take over from Luka Modric?

I really feel any player that has a very unlikely chance of playing should be a talented youngster that will also earn a lesser wage. So for back up to Lennon and Bale somone like Zaha, not Adam Johnson who will want big wages and expect to play straight away.
 
Adam Johnson would be great IMO. I think he will accept a pay cut to get games and he would get a whole bunch of starts for us

£5.5m for Dawson would be a travesty if he goes, the guy is much better than that valuation

I doubt he'd be expensive though. I mean Moses cost Wigan 3.5m from Crystal Palace and of course the whole fiasco with us and Bostock too, we still got him for cheap. Bolton were actually after him in January, what were the quoted prices?

A double swoop I can definitely get behind. Redmond looks the muts nuts and Butland looks a very young confident goalkeeper, a loan back to both would be good too.
 
DO NOT SELL DAWSON. It would be a massive mistake IMO. He is a committed 100% defender with bags of Premiership and even International experience. He has never let us down and always give everything for the Spurs cause. Almost impossible to replace that spirit for the Club. His sale would only come back to haunt us one way or another.

AVB mustnt try and change things too quickly and throw the baby out with the bathwater like he tried unsuccessfully at Chelski.
