Sandro - Beast

Replace 'punt' with 'steal' IMO. You're right that he hasn't fulfilled what we all know he can do (Or is it 'hope he can do'??) but I'd consider double that to be an accurate figure.

It could be a steal, but theres no way we'll get £20m for a player whose career is in limbo at the age of 25. He's at the make or break stage of his career and if he can't 1. get past his injury problems and 2. recapture his pre-injury form then he will be washed up very quickly.

We bought Capoue for around £10m didn't we, maybe a bit less? And Capoue was/is seemingly on the up.

For who?

The pre-injuries Sandro - possibly

The post-injury Sandro, however....

Before spouting such statements, think....

Would any of the top 6 in the Premiership buy him? NO

Would any team in Europe (or mid table Premiership side) be willing to spend more than 10 mill for him? Again NO

funnily enough he would WALK into Utd and Scums team.

name 5 in his position..

Irrelevant

English fans live in a bubble where transfer prices are concerned. 10 mill is massive money in Europe - especially for a defensive midfielder who was never a regular for his country and spent the majority of the past year on a treatment table - and if only one more serious knee injury from possible forced retirement.

Really?? Haven't seen many offers coming from them, even though it is well known that the club will sell for the right offer.

No because they want better. Vidal is better which is why Utd want him to destroy in midfield.. Arsenal have Flamini who they deem better laughably, lets be real they arent going to bid for one of ours.

Its not irrelevant, you asked if we'd seen the players that go for 10m, i said name some who have done in his position and that are better and you can't can you?

he should be in ours though, why do you think the majority of us think its a joke?

For the very same reason some players have been spacegoated despite being more than decent and giving 100%.

It's the Sandro groupie phenomenon -

As Scara says... just because a group of people think he should be in the team, doesn't mean they are right. The last two coaches seem to disagree.

Yet the last two before them, who did best for us in recent years thought he was great. One of which made him one of the best in europe. He had ONE serious injury in his 25 year old life , he has HARDLY had a run of games since.

He got injuries during both the last two coaches campaigns with us. He got them because they thought he should be playing for us.

I thought it was clear to see that Sandro was our best central midfielder?? No??
