But he wouldn't get 18. We saw this two years ago when he scored 8 in 9 games, people extrapolated that rate and argued he just needed more minutes. Yet predictably, the more he actually plays, the more his stats drop. His scoring rate doesn't scale up with more game time; it falls off.
 
So for perspective - 11 goals pre Kane and Son isn't actually that bad.
It stacks up against seasons in which Keane, Defoe and Berba were top scorers. (And Darren Bent).
It's more a Tottenham issue.
