Trying not to get too worried as “it’s only pre-season” but we have a league game in 8 days and we’re short in about 5 positions and have next to no quality going forward.

Its very early to tell I suppose, and we still have 2 more weeks of the window, but even with the signings we have made I am sensing maybe a finish just inside the Top 10 at best, which at least would be far better than a 3rd relegation battle on the bounce

10th isn’t good enough.

We have no European distraction and have spent a quarter of a billion pounds.

A lot will rest on getting players back who can actually make an impact in attack.

We’ve probably got 4 starters on the pitch, the rest is squad players, some of which are out of position.

From the team that we could potentially field in a couple of weeks time (Brentford might be too soon). That’s not including the injured players or potential signings.

There really isn’t anything to be concerned about other than we’re a bit undercooked going into next week. We are far from the only ones in that regard though.
