Are you trolling? And have the boat numbers fallen?
Or do you genuinely not understand the point being made?

I get it. But as a UK tax payer, batteries and power stations sounds a lot more expensive than just power stations.Exactly, gas and oil should stay in the tanks until it is needed ->backup
You are thinking like a prepper - batteries are not for long-term storage. The batteries are used to replace burning dead dinosaurs every evening when demand ramps up. I'm not sure you are getting it, but I think that's enough of this topic in the politics thread.
We'll technology out way out of that long before we get there. It might prevent the extinction of our species, if we manage to do it before the tipping point hits

As we already have the power stations......
What about people working at Alton Towers?
Look at you, you big socialist trying to renationalise the energy sector. Wait till your private members' club finds out.I get it. But as a UK tax payer, batteries and power stations sounds a lot more expensive than just power stations.

Which window are you looking at it through, is it the round winduw, or maybe the square window? It's like fuking play school.
I draw everyone's attention to my points of the last few pages about availablity of information and personal responsibility![]()
The shape I'm thinking of has a few more (far) right anglesWhich window are you looking at it through, is it the round winduw, or maybe the square window?

Reminds me of a certain poster on here. Sadiq is responsible for every bad thing in London. And none of the good things. It's crazy how much the far right hate him. I wonder why?
Mate, be serious. Give ya head a wobble.

Say it with me "BUT WHAT ABOUT THE BOATS ARGHHHH"Are you trolling?
Or do you genuinely not understand the point being made?
I was asking a genuine question.Say it with me "BUT WHAT ABOUT THE BOATS ARGHHHH"
According to the BBC:
In the year to March 2026, some 39,271 people arrived in the UK on small boats, according to the Home Office figures.
That's a 3% increase on last year's figure to March 2025, which was 38,023. It is still lower than the 2022 peak of 45,774.
and I´m trolling. I´ll leave you to your echo chamber it´s triggering my anxiety
Do you generally ask "genuine" questions by first asking if the other person is a troll? To me that isn´t a genuine question, same as Luton and his "What about the boats!" brick or the roundabout question. It then turns out the numbers arriving by boat went up slightly, people leaving stayed the same and people coming over legally dropped, so that equals a decrease in people who are paying into the system and an increase in people taking out -pretty sure they called it National Insurance for a reason but what would I knowI was asking a genuine question.
I was then going to ask about your opinion - I don't know what it is other than an interest in the volume of small boats (and presumably other methods of visa less entry to the UK).
No echo chamber here - I operate on objectivity.
We are doomed
