Politics, politics, politics (so long and thanks for all the fish)

So hands up, who is going to Tiny Toms arch on Saturday??
I can only imagine the numbers being unprecedented this time around looking at how people have voted. They have got the momentum.

Again I’m not pro or anti, I’m just observing the balance of things. I was getting quite bored of the free free Palestine from Hamas rallies.

In general the level of protests is getting boring across the board, especially when sincere overarching messaging is hijacked by the extreme left or right.

Is it fair to draw a distinction behween the hateful vitriol in a Tommy march compared to the Palestine ones where everyone is welcome unless you support murdering civilians In Palestine?

This doesn't take away from the smaller number of nasties on the left. Of course. But they are so not comparable in my view.

No and I agree, I was just being generic to an extreme.

As I say alot of messaging around protests is seemingly lost, like we should all be against what happened in Israel and we should all be against kids being killed in Gaza, but as with all these things, as I say repeatedly, no one likes to take a middle view and people are picking a side like its the San Siro Derby. Humanity, compassion and empathy has been lost to entrenchment

Haha yeah man. I don't disagree. I'm gonna go to the counter march. Let's see how it goes.

Yet again you're letting facts get in the way of unjustified claims. Disgusting!
Seems to be factually wrong as well.

Defence budget forecast was £62 billion plus for a start. Education £122 bn and UC less at £145bn.

Would suggest the person putting this together might have an agenda?

Another thing I find crazy is when people throw around benefits stats including UC claimants. Many many of those people are working the same or more hours as the average person but they get paid such a pittance they need help to be able to be warm and fed and safe. And very few of the people who hate those claimants the most, would be able to do their jobs for one day. Hard work. Care. Retail. Driving.
