Politics, politics, politics (so long and thanks for all the fish)

Seems a bizarre thing to lie about anyway, it was obvious they owned the company. Shows how poor the govt were, no way PPE even in a crisis should have a 30% profit margin.
Industry norm is between 4 and 6 percent
bit that’s legit PPE logistics providers, not cowboys

Who on earth advised Michelle Mone to go on TV and put her side of the story? It was a PR nightmare. People in her position just can't see anything they do is wrong, they do not expect the rules to apply to them and their mates.

Watching it, I got the sense she might not be the sharpest tool in the box. If you can’t handle an interview with Kuenssberg you’re not that bright.
Crisis is the ideal time to make obscene profits to many people.
Indeed. Just ask that c u n t Rees-Mogg.

These Brexit benefits are great, cutting all this red tape…

I have empathy for growers and farmers as initially it was exporting goods now it looks like importing goods is a hassle as well.

But, with a little foresight there's an obvious opportunity here, that would tick many boxes if you are looking for the UK benefitting.

Parliament really is a bit of a joke these days, makes you realise that most parties all exhibit the same traits even if their policies are different. About time the whole set up is modernised.

What an absolute turd Hoyle is.

Spent his day breaking centuries of tradition just to do his mate Starmer a favour. I'm glad everyone else refused to take part in such a circus.

Shame on Labour MPs for sitting and voting on it.

It brings shame on a great institution. If only they’d followed the lead of Boris Johnson, who respected all Parliamentary procedures and was so open and honest at the dispatch box.

Oh - hang on a minute…

Interesting you should mention that.

Remember when Starmer pressured Hoyle to remove "intentional" from the motion about lying to parliament?

The whole thing needs reform, should re-locate parliament elsewhere. Ridiculous they want to spend 10-15bn renovating it.

The more I see of Starmer the less I like him, I'm sure he'd be competent enough but he doesn't seem capable of taking decisive decisions and comes across as just another politician in a different suit.

So 30 p Lee has lost the Tory whip for his anti Islamic comments. About time they did something about the fascist/racist wing of their party. Truss should be next, afterspeaking on a platform where a fellow speaker argued against democracy and in favour of the the 6th of January coup attempt in Washington.

When people tell you who they are, believe them.

The man's a dingdong but there's a huge double standard problem here.

Do you think anyone would have lost the whip for suggesting that parts of the Conservative Party are under the control of the CofE? Because obviously parts of it are.

He said 'Islamists' which is the dog whistle for terrorists, as you very much know, so not quite the same thing. But anyway, you keep spinning for the Tories.

Genuinely, "Islamists" is just people that believe in that particular brand of Stone Age nonsense right?

If you want to conflate that term with terrorist, that's up to you. It's not particularly accurate but not entirely unfounded either.

This misses the point.. He's pushing Islamaphobic notions which are painting all Muslim's as dangerous or evil, regardless of their actual background. Got nowt to do with terrorism.. Just plain old, straight up, boldfaced racism.
