We really do need to cut our losses on him now. He is a reasonable player but we cannot have a player with a continual record of missing at least half of the season.

I do agree. Its hard for any manager to build a team when he never knows if a player is ever going to be fit enough to build around.

It looks like we will be stuck with him then because i doubt anyone would offer good money for him.

Me neither. I think we will offer him another contract extension. Can’t see us getting the £30m we paid for him in 2013. Would levy take a loss on him? I’m not sure.
