*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur vs Everton ***

Actually Lennon has been stepping up all season with massively improved defensive awareness and a greater variation in his game
Made this very point in another thread but got shot down. Fans need to recognise involvement's that much more demanding from the flank but he's certainly been putting in a shift. Just wish he would take on and beat his man a bit more, that would be immense.

Brave team selection by AVB, playing both Adebayor and Defoe instead of Sigurdsson. Hope we wont get overrun in midfield, but it did look promising against Arsenal.
Fair play to him for going with two strikers plus Dempsey. Here's hoping we all get the pay off!

Maybe after Sandro, Lennon has been one of the most improved players this season. Far from knocking him, we need the little guy at his best today.

Think we've picked a good team and it can definitely take at least a point. Mirallas could break through a high line if we hold it but on the other hand, we have the pace to counter him at the back. Gallas is getting a harsh run this season and I don't really know why. He is a good player and does a good job.

Who have Everton played at home since last March (since they were last beaten at home)? Presumably some good sides. If we get the 3 points today, we'll have done exceptionally well.

Man Utd this season? Drew with Liverpool and Arsenal?

He moves into midfield positions yes but he does nothing defensively in these positions.

Against Arse we got a look at Ade dropping into midfield, holding the ball, and running the line too when the chance arose. Granted it lasted for 17 minutes! But he was very effective in this short time. Tackling wasn't the best tho :)
