Merson is a idiot and always has been, amazes me that there are a FEW fans who take any notice in what he says.

I think this is part of our problem at the moment. No offence but I don’t think some of our fans realise how limited we still are.

3 forwards that don’t generally put the ball in the net, no real creativity in midfield, and our creative first choice right back out.

Opposition who are unbeaten and scored in every game, managed by a very experienced manager.

We may scramble one or maybe even two goals somehow but I suspect they will score at least one so it could go either way.

I understand it but the key part of what I said is if these players show up. We have yet to see our players playing at their best this season. I'm confident De Zerbi will get it to click eventually.

Everton agreed playing above their level. Major credit to them and the coaching for the second year in a row transfers have killed their squad and they continue to figure it out. But with that said, we beat them twice last season not playing our best.

A little fan bias in me for sure but I'm optimistic if our players show up to their skill level, we win today despite the injuries.

If Marmoush, Savio, Solanke, Kudus, Maddison play together then have no excuses not to create chances tbh.

Good to see Tel on the bench; coming off there with 15 minutes to go, and against tired legs, is the best way to use him for now imo.

Happy enough with that team, given the latest injuries.
