I agree with that but we do have a lack of quality. Our forwards are dreadful and we don’t have any standout players in any position.
He needs to give it a go. Not this constantly setting up to nullify the opponent. Always prioritising short term results (without getting enough of them).

I don't think they're bad players, but what are their actually qualities. I look at VDV for example, without the speed is he a good defender?

but his positioning and concentration are abysmal, he causes so many issues and opportunities
