OMT - Fulham vs Tottenham Hotspur

Dunno how I feel about that. First 60 minutes was miserable to the point that you’re thinking Tudor literally could not have started his reign any worse. The last 30 was reasonable but not to the point that we really threatened them or looked like getting anything.

Some things had me scratching my head. Vicario booting the ball the length of the pitch out of play for their goal kick. Gray just smashing a ball up the pitch when there was nothing there and he had time.

Palace is beyond huge for us and Tudor. We’re losing at Liverpool so Tudor loses on Thursday and the pressure on him and us ramps right up. Proverbially, it’s even bigger than a 6 pointer.

I think we’re getting a point or two tops by the end of the season. Can’t see us winning a single game.

I said it earlier, but I genuinely think we’re reliant on those below us losing and not us winning.

At least with this performance, Tudor will have food for thought on some of the performances from his players.

There was some great stuff from Tel, Richi whilst Danso proved that we need him. Not impressed with Gallagher, Muani, Dragu and Simons. Some of these guys need filtering out for the next one.
Danso is arguably our best pure defender. I don't know if I think hes better than Romero but hes less likely to do something hairbrained from what we've seen. Hes a level above Dragusin and VDV. If we are to play a 3 Danso should 100% be on the pitch. In a 4 maybe a Romero/Danso isn't as optimally balanced as one of them with VDV but honestly VDV just isn't that great that he automatically start.

First 60 was dire. Subs did make a difference. We need goals, fight and effort in our team right now.

Play:
Richy, Tel, Sarr, Danso and Gray in his preferred position.

Drop:
Dragusin, Gallagher, Simons and biss.

I don’t think we deserved to win. I don’t think we were bad either, but when we have to suffer terrible refereeing decisions like that, it changes games. Also a weird one at the end there. Pahlinha is bundled over and yet somehow is blow up for the free kick.

Have to shout out Vicario for keeping us in this at 2-0. He made a great save.

Shout out to Tel. I think it’s clear that he is one of the only players that hasn’t been woefully out of form or broken by injuries. He should have had more opportunities. But I think the squad is a combo of broken players, out of form players, players that know they won’t be here next season. It’s a mess.

Who would you want? Big call to want the manager gone after two (tough) games.

Poch is sat in his house at the moment, literally an 8 minute drive from the training ground.

We made a similar call with Stellini. I'm not convinced to give up on Tudor yet, but it has to be an option.

To be fair new manager bounce is a bit of a myth. It took a while for Nuno to get a tune out of the West Ham team, Forest new manager hasn't started any better really etc etc

But we really do need to get a win against Palace otherwise this is getting beyond alarming....

Guess it helps to have a talented squad for the new gaffer to work with…

Bent officials for the win yet again.

That’s not to say that we weren’t terrible: we undeniably were terrible.

Gallagher, Dragusin were really really really bad.

Solanke: was so bad that it’s a worry. He offered nothing anywhere on the pitch.

Bissouma: crap.

Simons tried but failed. Completely.

Muani: I think he tried hard but delivered nothing of note.

Souza looked decent when he came on. Given how wasted Gray was at LB, Souza must start the next game.

Tel offered something. Richy too.

Danso is miles better than Dragusin.

Palninha was very poor I thought.

I lost count of the times that a ball was cleared and they ‘won’ the second ball without actually having to win anything. That’s unforgivable.

I think Danso only didn't start because he's just come back, can't risk him getting injured but he should definitely start against Palace. He's generally pretty sold, not necessarily outstanding but seems fairly calm and is usually a good 7/10 every week which is more than enough for us.

Can’t see the US letting him do it and apparently the release clause is more than £21m.

Leave out Simons on Thursday, he offers very little , Tel did enough to get the wide left spot .
Simons offers a lot if played in the right area and with support. Most times he receives the ball there are very few options for him to pass to and he ends up trying to beat too many players then loses it.
Surprised by the 4-4-2, Tudor has played 3-4-3 or 3-4-2-1/3-4-1-2 for most of his career.
Really thought after getting back to 1-2 he would have gone with 3 at the back and let Porro and Souza push forward.

I know there are not a lot of options but we need someone who can organize a team in a relegation fight. It's not the losses that bother me per se but the manner of them. We are all over the place in defence, attack and non existent in midfield. I would even take Sean Dyche at this moment just to get us out of this. Yes I know he didn't fare well at Forest but he might be able to get us being tight at the back enough so we can nick some key wins.

Edit: I don't think it is such a big call to be fair. Given that Tudor was a desperate gamble in the first place

Balance that against hundreds of millions lost if we’re relegated…

Can’t see it. Anyway, our style would be to wait until we have to win our last two to stay up and then try to get him

We were awful mate - Fulham will be kicking themselves for not scoring at least 2 more

I'm not sure what I'm missing, we were awful.

Cut open at ease and zero attacking threat or movement.

Before we scored it could have been 4-0 Fulham

That was as poor as anything else this year, I'm not sure there is any positives to take other than Danso coming back and will take Dragons spot

I would have gone for Redknapp with Sherwood and a couple of others but he's here for the remainder.
Saw some good pressure at times but once the goal went in some pressed and some didn't and there were huge spaces again to play through. Need to instil a pattern of play fast!
