:ross:

I have only just seen this. Suarez's face when he realises no one is celebrating with him is hilarious.

I know he stamped on Scott but I love this guy. More front than Harrods.

AFC Wimbledon knocked York City out of the FA Cup last night and will play MK Dons in the next round, provided Dons can overcome Cambridge in their replay.

INTERNATIONAL ROUND-UP

A1162.jpg

We've 11 players in international friendly action this week.

Andros Townsend and Adam Smith are first up as England Under-21s take on Northern Ireland at Blackpool's Bloomfield Road tonight, kick-off 7.30pm.

Andros will be looking for a second cap after making his U21 debut against Slovenia, while Adam is after cap number seven.

Tom Huddlestone has joined Steven Caulker in the full England squad for the friendly against Sweden in Stockholm on Wednesday night.

Steven is looking for his first cap in his second call-up while Tom is after a first cap since May, 2010 to add to his three at senior level.

Emmanuel Adebayor has travelled to Morocco for a friendly with Togo, Hugo Lloris and France have a stand-out friendly in Italy, Gylfi Sigurdsson has travelled to Andorra with Iceland and Jan Vertonghen's eye-catching Belgium team travel to Romania.

Further afield, Sandro has travelled to New Jersey, USA for a friendly against Colombia at the MetLife Stadium, home of NFL teams the Jets and Giants and host of the 2014 Super Bowl.

Jordan Archer is with Scotland Under-21s for a friendly in Portugal and Nabil Bentaleb is with the France Under-19 squad for a friendly against Germany.

Really disappointed we won't have Sandro available for Saturday - could have been the difference between a good result and a overwhelming loss

Have I missed something? Why won't we have Sandro available for Saturday?

Re: **Official Other Teams & Games Thread, Season 2012/13**

Owen injured again, has he even played for Stoke..

Why do teams keep signing him up, nothing but a money grabber with no desire to play football anymore just happy to be injured and pick up his wage packet

He is playing a friendly in the USA - 00:30 Thursday morning UK time

The game takes place in New Jersey

By the time the game is finished and they're back to the hotel would be around 4:00am earliest.

By the time they get from the hotel to the airport and assuming their flight leaves conveniently 'soon enough' - they can leave around 07:00 - 08:00am UK Time

Flight duration from New Ark to Heathrow is about 7 hours on average - earliest he can land 04:00pm Thursday evening UK Time.

Earliest he can be at his spot - around 06:00pm Thursday evening

Jet lag and time difference - Friday is a write-off

Even if he plays, I bet you he won't be at 100% sadly

Re: **Official Other Teams & Games Thread, Season 2012/13**

Who cares. A 50% Sandro is better than any other midfield options we have and would still boss some Arsenal pansies in the middle of the park.

Re: **Official Other Teams & Games Thread, Season 2012/13**

Gylfi isn't playing for Iceland this week. He's been dealing with some minor injuries and the Iceland and Spurs medical staffs decided it would be best for him to stay in England for treatment. The report didn't state what kind of injury it was.
