***Official Match Thread Tottenham Hotspur v Saudi Sportswashing Machine 8:15pm Tuesday 2nd Dec. ***

Yes, but sadly, as they say, its the hope that kills you....

We have been fairly inconsistent since the early part of 2019 if I remember correctly.... That is apart from being consistently poor.

We have had the odd glorious moment of course, but these last 6 years have left me devoid of any confidence that we will actually win a game.....

Is it the manager? Is it the players ? Is it down to the owners? A mixture of all three where the finger of blame at any one given point can be pointed in a different direction...

Credit must be given to the couple of thousand Spurs fans going up there tonight but all I can see is another poor performance and a disappointing defeat...

Regardless,
COYS.

Please tell me you aren’t giving the team talk. 😃

In this sense the pressure is off somewhat. We all just want an affirming performance - that we can compete and show some effective shape, composure and promise. Which bar two goals conceded I saw some potential against fullham. At least the Spurs players will get a more positive reception up there 😂
Yeah was thinking about this game earlier and the thought popped in my mind that the players would genuinely be happier playing at St James Park than at our home. Considering how often we get bent over there that really is a sad state of affairs, we need to sort this issue out somehow.

Genuinely think we are more likely to put in a performance here than against Brentford, not just because of the fans but also the way we setup. Cautiously optimistic Frank and the boys will do a bit better than most expect here...
