I don't really see the appeal of The Odyssey, is it possible to suspend disbelief when you have the most famous people in the world dressed up speaking English?

I've never felt the need to see American or English films adapted from foreign books or plays spoken in the language they were written.

I do, fine in foreign language films, but I feel I have enough imagination to believe that foreign people in their own country or abroad are speaking in their mother tongue to each other. It adds nothing to the film other than a veneer of authenticity.

I saw Disclosure Day yesterday. There were a few plot holes, I suppose, but overall I enjoyed it a lot. The main actress was excellent.
